Guidance Counseling

Megg Crane serves as the School Counselor at Fort Payne Career Academy. Before becoming a school counselor, she spent 17 years as a special education teacher, giving her more than two decades of experience working with students and families.

Megg holds a master’s degree in School Counseling and is passionate about helping students recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and discover a path toward a future they can be proud of. She believes every student deserves to have someone in their corner and that relationships are at the heart of education.

Outside of school, Megg is an author, speaker, wife, mom, and proud “Gigi.”

She considers it a privilege to serve the students and families of Fort Payne Career Academy.
